Supra’s AutoFi and SupraNova Go Live on Public Testnet, Advancing Onchain Automation and Cross-Chain DeFi

Supra, the fully vertically integrated Layer-1 blockchain built with MultiVM support, in-protocol oracles, native onchain randomness, cross-chain communication, and enshrined automation capabilities, today announced the public testnet launch of two major innovations: AutoFi, its system-level automation engine transforming blockchain economics, and SupraNova, the world’s first bridgeless cross-chain interoperability protocol.
These releases mark a pivotal leap forward for Web3 infrastructure, solving deep structural flaws in both blockchain automation and interoperability while unlocking new value flows for dApps, validators, and developers across the ecosystem.
AutoFi: Real-Time, System-Level Automation with New Revenue Streams
AutoFi introduces a paradigm shift in DeFi infrastructure: system-level automation that allows smart contracts to execute themselves the instant strategic conditions are met, with zero-block delay. Unlike current off-chain solutions that rely on third-party keepers, AutoFi is built directly into the core Supra stack, enabling transactions to trigger autonomously in the very same block that conditions are met, as demonstrated on Supra’s X profile.
AutoFi’s three-tiered economic model includes:
- Automation Task Fees: Simple recurring fees from users registering automated actions.
- Priority Execution Auctions: Competitive bidding for high-value actions like liquidations and arbitrage, where users bid for execution rights.
- Protocol-Level Automation: Any unclaimed value is captured by the protocol itself and shared across ecosystem participants.

Revenue generated through AutoFi is redistributed across the ecosystem in a way that aligns incentives and promotes long-term sustainability: 25% goes to the DeFi dApps where the automation opportunities originate, 25% is allocated to node operators as a non-inflationary reward for maintaining the network, and the remaining 50% is directed to the Supra treasury to fuel ecosystem growth and protocol-owned liquidity. This creates a self-sustaining, anti-inflationary economic loop, which can help Supra wean off block rewards within two years. SupraNova: Bridgeless Interoperability at Layer-1
In parallel, Supra has launched SupraNova on public testnet, the first bridgeless cross-chain interoperability protocol that enables direct, trustless L1-to-L1 communication without relays, wrappers, or third-party multisigs.
Cross-chain communication has long been a security weak point in crypto, with more than $2 billion lost in bridge exploits in recent years. SupraNova eliminates the bridge entirely, recomputing the consensus of transactions on external chains natively and directly on Supra Layer-1.

When a transaction takes place on a supported chain, such as Ethereum, a cryptographic proof of that event is generated and submitted to Supra. SupraNova then verifies the transaction directly by recomputing and validating the source chain’s native consensus, without relying on external validators, relays, or multisigs.
This breakthrough enables:

SupraNova launches with support for Ethereum initially, followed by other EVM-based Proof-of-Stake chains, with expansion to MoveVM-based networks and additional Layer-1s and Layer-2s on the roadmap.
