Polkadot Blockchain Academy Announces PBA-X to School Next Wave of Web3 Professionals

Polkadot Blockchain Academy has announced PBA-X, a major initiative designed to accelerate web3 learning and onboard the next generation of blockchain professionals. Taking the form of a cohort-based, four-week, part-time, online course, PBA-X will furnish aspiring blockchainers with the knowledge to take their first steps in web3.
The first PBA-X cohort is set to launch on January 6, giving entrants an opportunity to supercharge their blockchain knowledge and acquire core skills that will provide a foundation for further learning. Created with the aid of senior Polkadot developers including Dr Gavin Wood, PBA-X aims to democratize access to high-quality structured learning material about Web3 by allowing anyone to participate, regardless of location or experience.
PBA-X maintains the robust standards set by Polkadot Blockchain Academy while delivering content in a highly accessible and easily digestible format. Course modules include Cryptography, Economics, Governance, Polkadot SDK, and Blockchain.
The four-week course includes a series of professionally filmed lectures which have been created exclusively for PBA-X, as well as a number of live lectures each week to complement. Each module is assessed online with multiple-choice exams. As an entry-level course, PBA-X requires no pre-existing technical skills. It will take blockchain novices from zero to one, granting them invaluable knowledge that will expand their career opportunities, both within Polkadot and the wider Web3 industry.

Upon completion, participants will be ready to choose their path, whether pursuing their own route into the industry or applying for the in-person PBA Campus course, which covers more advanced topics, specifically for developers.
