Morgan Stanley China COO joins blockchain-focused venture capital firm No Limit Holdings
No Limit Holdings (“NLH”) is pleased to welcome Jeremy Huff as a partner and co-founder of NLH. Mr. Huff joins NLH from Morgan Stanley where he was Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer for China.
“Jeremy brings deep experience across corporate law, intellectual property and asset management that is highly complementary to NLH’s strengths as native crypto investors,” said NLH partner and co-founder Gin Chao.
“The breadth of his professional career is a testament to his ability to translate highly complex and fluid concepts into action – a skill that will serve NLH, our investors and portfolio projects well. Jeremy joins at a time when bitcoin has been institutionally accepted, which paves the way for continued adoption by and investment from traditional financial firms. He will be a key member of our investment committee and play a critical role in educating traditional LPs and executing our RWA strategy among others.”
“As a believer in the power of blockchain to change our world for the better, I couldn’t be more excited to join this top-caliber team,” said Huff. “NLH’s track record and portfolio prove its commitment to supporting visionary founders in the development of products that deliver the promise of blockchain’s benefits, like decentralisation and democratization, to real world users.”
Huff had served as Morgan Stanley’s Chief Operating Officer for China since 2017, executing strategy across the firm’s multiple platforms in mainland China, including serving as a Director of Morgan Stanley’s onshore mutual fund business and member of the investment committee of Morgan Stanley’s RMB private equity fund. He started his career as a corporate attorney at Skadden, Arps in New York and moved to the firm’s Beijing office in 2007. He joined NBA China’s legal department in 2010 where he launched and then headed the league’s branded attractions business for Greater China.
Huff holds a BA from Duke University, a JD from Harvard Law School and was a Luce Scholar in Taipei from 2000-2001.
