Reap, Meitu’s EveLab Insight, and Pivota Sign MOU to Explore Bringing Agentic Beauty Shopping to Life
The collaboration would connect personalized consumer experiences and the checkout experience with Reap’s agentic payments solution
HONG KONG, Nov. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Reap, a global financial technology company that enables financial connectivity and access for businesses worldwide through stablecoin-enabled infrastructure, has recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to explore a strategic collaboration with Meitu’s EveLab Insight, a provider of international skin analysis solutions and publisher of the MakeupPlus app, and also Pivota, a global commerce technology company that connects AI applications with merchants and payment infrastructure.
The collaboration aims to bring personalized, AI-assisted shopping experiences to beauty consumers, helping them move seamlessly from product discovery towards merchant checkout and payment. A shopper could get a skin and beauty analysis through MakeupPlus, and with the shopper’s consent and based on their preferences, receive relevant recommendations. Pivota would assess suitable products, merchants and purchase channels, taking into account factors such as price and availability, then Reap would handle the checkout and order confirmation through supported integrations.
The shopper would remain in control of the purchase, and where required, review the payment details and approve it via a secure passkey. Reap’s agentic payments service is designed to support agent-initiated card payments under user-approved mandates with payment credentials, spending controls and transaction records.
