BitGo Integrates Jupiter Validator to Offer Institutional SOL Staking
Singapore, Singapore, October 28th, 2026, Chainwire
Jupiter, a leading decentralized finance (DeFi) platform on Solana, today announced a partnership with BitGo Bank & Trust, N.A. (“BitGo”) that enables BitGo’s institutional clients to stake SOL directly from their existing custody accounts through the Jupiter x BitGo validator.
The integration brings together Jupiter’s Solana validator expertise and BitGo’s institutional infrastructure, allowing institutions to participate in Solana’s native staking mechanism and earn staking rewards while maintaining the security and protections of BitGo’s regulated custody. By integrating staking directly into existing custody workflows, the partnership is designed to simplify access to staking and reduce the operational complexity of managing assets across multiple providers.
“Most people know Jupiter for swaps, perps, and lending, but none of that works without a network that’s secure and fast underneath it. Running a validator is how we invest in that base layer, and partnering with BitGo brings institutional SOL into it on terms those institutions already trust.” – Kash Dhanda, COO
The partnership extends Jupiter’s role in the Solana ecosystem beyond its established DeFi applications, which include swaps, perpetuals, and lending. As one of Solana’s major validators, Jupiter provides staking infrastructure that supports network participation and security. Through its collaboration with BitGo, Jupiter can extend its validator capabilities to institutions seeking to participate in Solana staking through an established custody provider.
For BitGo, the partnership further expands the staking opportunities available to institutional clients through its regulated digital asset infrastructure. BitGo’s regulated custody platform provides clients with institutional-grade, cold storage security, access to up to $250M in insurance, and bankruptcy-remote protections. By integrating Jupiter’s validator capabilities into its existing custody and staking workflows, BitGo enables clients to participate in native SOL staking while maintaining their established custody arrangements.
As institutional participation in digital assets expands, access to staking infrastructure is becoming an increasingly important consideration for firms holding proof-of-stake assets. On Solana, staking allows SOL holders to delegate tokens to validators that help secure the network and receive protocol-generated rewards in return.
“Staking is an important part of how institutions manage their SOL holdings, and it needs to fit into their existing custody and approval processes,” said Abel Seow, Managing Director, Head of APAC Sales
The integration reflects a broader effort to make blockchain-native financial activities accessible through infrastructure that meets institutional operational requirements. By combining BitGo’s custody services with Jupiter’s validator infrastructure, the partnership connects institutional asset custody with direct participation in the Solana network.
With the Jupiter x BitGo validator now available to BitGo’s institutional clients, the partnership gives institutions an additional way to stake SOL while keeping their assets in their existing custody environment.
