USDC’s Share of Stablecoin Settlement Jumps from 21% to 75% in a Year, Paybis Data Shows

PSP settlement volume is up 106% year over year, with EUR-to-USDC now the busiest settlement corridor Paybis processes
Paybis, a global crypto and fiat infrastructure provider, today released updated figures on settlement activity for its payment service provider (PSP) clients – companies that handle payments on behalf of other businesses.
That volume runs through Paybis Send for mass crypto payouts, showing an increase of 106%, or just over 2x, year over year between January-August 2025 and January-August 2026.
Within that volume, Paybis also tracked a fast shift in which stablecoin PSPs actually use to move money. Over a separate 13-month window (July 2025 to July 2026), USDC’s share of stablecoin volume climbed from roughly 21% to about 75%, overtaking the other leading stablecoin to become the dominant settlement token by volume around April 2026.
That shift shows up clearly in how PSPs use Paybis’s crypto on-ramp to convert fiat into crypto and fund payouts. Between January and July 2026, EUR -> USDC alone accounted for about 59% of all conversion volume Paybis processed, with other stablecoins adding another 32% – together roughly 90% of the market observed. Across all currency corridors in that window, the top five accounted for approximately 99.5% of volume, underlining how concentrated settlement activity is around a small number of routes.
