
IronWallet launches MCP server for AI-powered crypto wallet management

AI agents are rapidly moving from answering questions to performing tasks across connected applications. With the launch of its new MCP Server, IronWallet is bringing this development to cryptocurrency wallets.
IronWallet is launching an MCP server that connects the non-custodial wallet with AI clients, allowing users to interact with their crypto assets through natural-language commands. The integration supports Cursor, Codex (Chat GPT), and Claude Code, as well as other MCP-compatible clients.
Users can check balances, view wallet addresses, transfer tokens, generate deposit QR codes, and execute supported swaps across 12 blockchain networks, including Ethereum, BNB Chain, Solana, Bitcoin, TRON, Polygon, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Avalanche, XRP, and TON.
Connecting Cursor and Codex can be done directly through their MCP setup. Claude Code can be connected through the IronWallet MCP setup page, which provides installation instructions and configuration options.
The MCP Server runs locally on the user’s computer. Seed phrases are generated and encrypted locally and are not shared with the AI agent, LLM, or IronWallet backend. IronWallet also provides optional spending controls, including read-only mode, transaction limits, and recipient allow-lists.
