MEXC Lists New Ondo Tokenized Stock Pairs Spanning AI Infrastructure, Semiconductor and Rare Earth Sectors

MEXC, a pioneer in 0-fee digital asset trading, has listed five new Ondo tokenized stock trading pairs on Spot, expanding user access to stocks spanning AI infrastructure, semiconductors, enterprise software and rare earth materials.
The new pairs are AXTION/USDT (AXT Inc), AEHRON/USDT (Aehr Test Systems), APLDON/USDT (Applied Digital), USARON/USDT (USA Rare Earth) and SAPON/USDT (SAP SE). The pairs went live on Spot on August 6, 2026, at 13:30 (UTC), with deposits now open. Withdrawals will open on August 7, 2026, at 13:30 (UTC).
Report data jointly published by MEXC and CoinGecko shows that demand for stock-related products on crypto exchanges rose notably in 2026. U.S. stock trading volume across six major centralized exchanges climbed 337.4% month over month in June to $189.84 billion, representing 48.3% of total TradFi volume and overtaking precious metals as the largest traditional-asset category for the first time. Over the same period, MEXC’s own monthly TradFi volume expanded roughly 59-fold, reaching $91.12 billion in May, while the platform ranked second by monthly market share among the six exchanges tracked for five consecutive months.
The report also found that crypto-native users are increasingly moving into traditional-asset trading. In contrast, some users with a traditional-finance background have begun shifting their trading activity to crypto exchanges, driven by round-the-clock access, lower barriers to entry, faster execution, and the ability to manage multiple asset classes from a single account. In response to this trend, MEXC has continued to expand its U.S. stock asset coverage, giving users worldwide a more efficient, lower-barrier, one-stop trading experience.
This listing marks the 27th batch of tokenized stock pairs introduced through MEXC’s collaboration with Ondo. Ondo tokenized stocks allow retail and institutional users outside the United States to instantly mint and redeem tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs 24 hours a day, five days a week. MEXC will continue to work with Ondo to bring users broader on-chain access to traditional securities.
