$1.5 Billion Agreement Signed By Argentum AI To Provide Large-Scale GPU Cloud Capacity
San Francisco, CA, USA, April 29th, 2026, Chainwire
Argentum AI today signed a landmark $1.5 billion agreement with one of the major AI natives to secure dedicated, large-scale AI cloud infrastructure, significantly expanding its compute capabilities amid surging global demand for artificial intelligence resources.
Under the agreement, Argentum AI will deliver capacity equivalent to approximately 10,500 NVIDIA GB300 GPUs, among the most advanced processors available for AI training and inference. This deployment will enable the co-signer to accelerate the development, scaling, and commercialization of next-generation AI systems across enterprise and industrial applications.
The deployment will be supported through Argentum AI’s cloud platform, designed to deliver scalable, high-performance compute.
The partnership comes at a critical moment for the AI sector – Industry analysts estimate that global spending on AI infrastructure will exceed $200 billion annually by 2028, driven by exponential growth in generative AI, large language models, and real-time data processing.
At the same time, persistent GPU shortages and supply chain constraints have prompted enterprises to seek alternative, flexible sourcing strategies beyond traditional hyperscale cloud providers.
Argentum AI’s cloud platform will offer scalable, high-performance compute optimized for intensive training and inference workloads. Its distributed infrastructure model enables customers to access capacity across multiple geographies while maintaining enterprise-grade standards for security, compliance, and uptime.
“Supporting our partners with dedicated, high-performance GPU capacity is a strategic priority for us, and we’re excited about what we will build together with our partners over the coming years,”stated Andrew Sobko, Argentum AI CEO.
This agreement underscores a broader industry shift toward diversified AI infrastructure solutions. As organizations grapple with rising compute costs, often accounting for up to 60–70% of total AI model development expenses, there is increasing demand for platforms that offer greater cost efficiency and operational control.
The announcement comes on the heels of Argentum AI signing two additional agreements this week alone – A $140 million deal and a $100 million deal for AI inference. Milbank LLP served as an advisor regarding all three agreements.
