Timpi, the decentralised web index powering independent search, and MASQ Network, the privacy browser and mesh VPN protocol, today announced a full product ecosystem merger, creating the first vertically integrated community-powered privacy stack in Web3.
Under the new structure, MASQ becomes the consumer-facing brand and gateway product, housing MASQ Browser, Timpi Search, and MASQ Network under one unified experience. Timpi continues as the independent infrastructure layer, the decentralised index and data foundation that everything else is built upon.

The Stack Is Now Complete
Decentralised search without a privacy browser is incomplete. A privacy browser without decentralised search defaults to Big Tech. Neither works at scale without a decentralised connectivity layer.
For the first time, all three exist in one ecosystem:
- Timpi – Independent, inspectable decentralised search index
- MASQ Browser – Privacy-first browser with native Timpi Search integration
- MASQ Network – Mesh VPN and decentralised connectivity layer
Timpi brings an existing community of tens of thousands of users with a built in desire for the world to finally have a search engine that delivers fair and unbiased results. MASQ brings a live browser, a decentralised VPN protocol, and an established node operator network. The combined product stack will be targeting immediate user growth from day one of the integration.
Leadership Structure
Aaron Friedlander (KauriHero), Founder of MASQ, continues to lead the MASQ brand which will become the consumer arm of Timpi within the combined ecosystem.

Both $NTMPI and $MASQ Remain Intact
This is a product ecosystem merger, not a token restructure. Both tokens continue with their existing mechanics:
- $NTMPI – Validator security, node layer infrastructure, staking rewards, and purchasing of services. Expanded ad inventory from MASQ Browser integration strengthens the economic loop.
- $MASQ – Consumer utility token powering MASQ Network, subscription services, and node payments. Buy-back mechanics from MASQ Premium subscription revenue continue, with new user acquisition funnels from Timpi’s existing community accelerating volume.
No tokenomics changes. No swaps. No migrations. Both teams hold vested positions, aligned incentives for the long term.
Revenue Architecture
The merger creates three revenue streams feeding both ecosystems: search advertising, data and API services through Timpi, and consumer subscriptions through Masq. Combined user growth multiplies the inputs to both token buy-back programmes simultaneously.

Timpi is evolving from a single consumer brand into a three-layer ecosystem:
- Timpi – Decentralised index and protocol infrastructure
- MASQ – Consumer arm (MASQ Browser + Timpi Search + MASQ Network)

The Stack Is Live: Timpi Search Open Beta Now Accessible
The merger announcement coincides with a milestone both communities have been building toward: Timpi Search has entered open beta. The product is live now at timpi.com , accessible to anyone, no invite required. The search product the stack depends on. It’s no longer in closed beta testing. The open beta signals the transition from infrastructure build to public distribution. Community members are encouraged to use it, share it, and provide feedback directly. Every search query compounds the index growth. The stack is no longer a roadmap item, the foundation is searchable today.
