EV2 Presale Opens as Funtico Gears Up for the Launch of AAA Web3 ‘Game Earth Version 2’

Funtico has begun the public presale for $EV2, the native token of its upcoming MMORPG shooter Earth Version 2 (EV2). The sale releases 40% of the total 2.88 billion $EV2 token supply to early purchasers, marking the first phase of the game’s multi-phase rollout.
The game will debut on PC via Funtico, Steam, and the Epic Games Store, with a console release to follow. Having previously shipped blockchain games on Avalanche, Funtico has selected Ethereum for the $EV2 presale to reach a wider audience and to mainstream access to the Web3 combat title.
$EV2 will serve as the transaction and rewards currency within the game’s ecosystem. Players can use the token to upgrade equipment, access marketplace trades, and earn rewards for in-game performance. Purchases during the presale can be made using ETH, USDC, USDT, BTC, BNB, SOL, and SUPER, or via credit card, making it easier for both blockchain users and traditional gamers to participate. Purchases of over $1K will be awarded an additional 10% bonus in the form of TICO tokens.
Earth Version 2 introduces players to a newly identified planet where human explorers uncover alien technology and ancient infrastructure. The title combines MMORPG progression with real-time shooter gameplay. EV2’s design emphasizes visual polish and cinematic action, reflecting Funtico’s aim to bring high-fidelity production to Web3.
EV2 was recently previewed during GameRadar’s Future Game Show, where it was presented as the first AAA Web3 game showcased at the event. In Earth Version 2, game progression is supported by four playable classes:
- Brute: A defensive specialist focused on absorbing damage
- Cloaker: A stealth-oriented attacker with high mobility
- Mag: A support class using energy-based abilities to heal allies or disable enemies
- Pathfinder: A tactical fighter assisted by a drone capable of shielding or attacking
- Valkyrie: Equipped in a Rift Engine suit capable of sealing dimensional breaches.
Players can compete across several game modes. Oblivion challenges teams to complete objectives as the playable map narrows, while Fracture is a chaotic survival match where the primary goal is to collect pairs of green, blue, and red cubes. Once a player has all six, a relic appears, and grabbing it makes them the target for 25 other players. Outlast the 5-minute timer as the carrier to secure victory, or rack up points by slaying rivals for a backup win.
The project follows a staged development timeline. Community testing and gameplay refinement are in progress and token-based onboarding and partnership activity are slated for Q1 2026. The full game release and token generation event are scheduled for Q2 2026, at which point the marketplace will open and earned tokens will become usable across the live economy. From Q3 2026 onward, additional content, tournaments, and reward structures will be introduced to support long-term player engagement.
Participants in the current presale will also gain access to future bundles that include digital assets and limited-edition items tied to gameplay functionality.
