Two-Day Developer Competition Offers Direct Path to Startup World Cup Finals
Blockchain Jungle and Dojo Coding announced today the Avalanche x Tether WDK Builder Sprint, a two-day development competition taking place November 8-9, 2025, at the Costa Rica Convention Center during the Blockchain Jungle summit.
The event, conducted in partnership with Avalanche and Tether, combines an intensive 8-hour builder sprint on November 8 with the opportunity for winning teams to present at the Startup World Cup regional finals on November 9.
Event Structure
Day 1 – November 8: Builder Sprint Participants will have 8 hours (10:30 AM – 6:30 PM) to build functional payment applications using Avalanche C-Chain and Tether’s Wallet Development Kit (WDK). The sprint concludes with project presentations and prize announcements, followed by the selection of finalists who will advance to the Startup World Cup competition.
Day 2 – November 9: Startup World Cup Top teams from the builder sprint will present their projects to an international panel of venture capitalists and investors as part of the official Startup World Cup regional finals, competing for investment opportunities and global recognition.
Technical Framework
Participants will work with:
- Avalanche C-Chain: Providing sub-second transaction finality with minimal fees
- Tether WDK: Simplifying USDT integration for payment applications
- Starter Kit: Pre-configured Next.js application with wallet connectivity and smart contract templates
The competition welcomes developers of all blockchain experience levels, with JavaScript/TypeScript knowledge being the primary technical requirement.
Preparation and Support
A preparation workshop is scheduled for November 5, 2025, where participants can familiarize themselves with the starter kit and receive technical guidance from Avalanche and Tether WDK experts. While optional, attendance is recommended for optimal preparation.
During the sprint, mentors from Avalanche and Dojo Coding will provide real-time support and code reviews to participating teams.
