WLFI’s First Offline Event Meets RaveDAO’s First Korea Chapter in a TEDx-Inspired Community Experience
RaveDAO, the world’s largest Web3 rave community, is partnering with World Liberty Financial (WLFI) to launch their first-ever USD1 powered IRL payment at WLFI’s offline event during Korea Blockchain Week on September 24, 2025. The exclusive gathering will mark the first real-world payment for WLFI’s USD1 stablecoin, powering ticketing, consumer purchases, and entertainment transactions across the event.
Bridging Finance and Culture with USD1
WLFI, a next-generation finance protocol merging banking-grade infrastructure with decentralized finance, will showcase the USD1’s first consumer deployment at KBW in Seoul. Pegged 1:1 to the U.S. dollar and backed by reserves including U.S. Treasuries and cash equivalents, USD1 has rapidly grown into one of the top five stablecoins by market cap, with circulation surpassing $2.5 billion and a total market capitalization of roughly $2.7 billion.
While USD1 is already traded widely on major exchanges, including Coinbase and Binance, the RaveDAO Korea Chapter marks the first time it will be used at point-of-sale in an offline context to enable ticket purchases and on-site spending seamlessly in stablecoin.

RaveDAO is also launching the first Korea Chapter, a TEDx-inspired community format that combines music, culture, and philanthropy into a scalable, city-by-city network.
The RaveDAO Korea Chapter will feature WLFI, AWE, Aptos, MUKU, Umy, Gradient, PLVR, SideKick and Mango Labs as ecosystem partners to showcase practical use cases in lifestyle, travel, and entertainment.
