DWF Labs Returns as Official Partner for DMCC x Bybit Web3 Unleashed Hackathon 2025

The next generation Web3 investor and market maker DWF Labs has announced that it is supporting Web3 Unleashed for the third year running. In its capacity as official event partner, DWF Labs will play an active role in the DMCC x Bybit hackathon including contributing to the $140,000 prize pool.
Web3 Unleashed is returning in 2025 under the theme “Shaping the Next Wave of Web3,” with the submission period commencing on September 1 and running until October 5. The global hackathon, organized by Dubai-centered international business district DMCC and Bybit exchange, is supported by DWF Labs which is an official event partner.
In addition to contributing to the prize pool, members of the DWF Labs team will be serving as judges throughout the hackathon, which is poised to receive submissions from web3 developer teams around the world. For 2025, Web3 Unleashed features two new tracks in DeFAI – the intersection of decentralized finance and artificial intelligence – and DeSci – focused on innovation in decentralized science and research.
Joined by event sponsors including Hacken, Cointelegraph, Open Platform, Blockchain for Good Alliance (BGA), Verse8, CROSS, Blockchain Gaming Alliance (BGA), and CV Labs, DWF Labs will actively support the competition which is designed to spur the development of practical web3 solutions that solve real-world problems.
Hackathon participants will be able to develop their ideas into working solutions with assistance from founders, investors, and entrepreneurs. This will empower them to gain a foothold in the industry, with the most promising proposals receiving the resources required to be transformed into working solutions.

An array of blockchain startups and developer teams participated in the 2024 edition of Web3 Unleashed, culminating in the finalists submitting decentralized solutions spanning AI, zero-knowledge protocols, identity systems and digital infrastructure for the judges’ consideration, with the top five projects sharing the prize pool.
Following this year’s application window that runs from September 1 to October 5, teams will have their submissions remotely assessed before the top five are invited to participate in a live demo day on November 26. This will be hosted at DMCC’s flagship commercial tower, S/O Uptown Dubai. Finalists will present to a selection of investors, advisors and sector specialists including members of DWF Labs, Bybit, DMCC Crypto Centre, Hacken, Injective, Meezan Ventures, and Cointelegraph followed by an awards ceremony and afterparty.
