GOAT Network Launches Pre-Deposit with StakeStone, Expanding BTC and DOGE Participation Opportunities

GOAT Network, the first sustainable BTC yield chain, today launched GOAT Pre-Deposit, a collaboration with omnichain liquidity asset protocol StakeStone that enables users to deposit BTCB and/or DOGE from BNB Chain, and earn real, sustainable BTC yield.
GOAT Pre-Deposit allows users to deposit BTCB or DOGE on the BNB Chain, with the potential to earn three types of rewards: BTC, GOAT Points, and $STO, the governance token of StakeStone.

Expanding Opportunities for Bitcoin Holders

Here’s how it works:
On GOAT Network, users pay transaction fees in BTC for on-chain activities. Such activities consist of swaps, staking, playing Web3 games, and more. GOAT Network is the first sustainable BTC yield chain to decentralize its sequencer, sharing both network operational control and revenue (collected from BTC fees) with all the community sequencer node operators.
That BTC revenue is then converted into a yield-bearing BTC token. An innovative BTC bond market is then created by decomposing the yield-bearing BTC token into an additional yield-bearing token and a principal token, similar to the model pioneered by innovative DeFi protocol Pendle Finance (but in GOAT’s case, at a chain level rather than a dApp level).
In short, as transaction activity increases on GOAT Network, participants who stake BTC or DOGE into GOAT have the potential to receive rewards. These rewards begin today with GOAT Pre-Deposit.
Participation Overview
To participate in the GOAT Pre-Deposit initiative, users may deposit BTCB or DOGE on BNB Chain. The minimum deposit is $10 USD worth of BTBC and/or DOGE, which equals 0.0001 BTCB, or 50 DOGE.
Users benefit by earning three types of rewards: BTC, $STO, and 2x GOAT Points. StakeStone is also offering an Early Bird bonus: the first 2,000 addresses that deposit ≥ 0.0015 BTC or ≥ 750 DOGE will each receive 50 $STO (StakeStone’s governance token, TGE imminent!)
The caps for GOAT Pre-Deposit are 50 BTCB, and 10 million DOGE.
