Hashlock completes an Audit for Rank, a no-code tool for users to create automated trading strategies

Hashlock, a leader in Web3 security and smart contract auditing, has announced the successful completion of a security audit for Rank Trading, a platform for automated quant trading for everyone.
The Rank Trading team partnered with Hashlock to conduct a security audit of their RankFactory.sol, RankStrategy.sol, and RankToken.sol smart contracts. Hashlock manually and proactively reviewed the code in order to ensure the project’s team and community that the deployed contracts were secure.
Rank Trading is a DeFi trading platform with AI tools specifically designed for advanced traders with or without coding experience. Like OpenSea for NFT, Rank is a marketplace for traders where the performance of each trader’s strategy will be ranked according to return, with rankings innovatively displayed so that anyone can follow day-to-day performance. This in turn allows peers on Rank—even someone without any trading knowledge—to evaluate the rankings and invest in any trader’s strategy that best suits their expectations in terms of risk and reward.
Hashlock audited the solidity code within the Rank Trading project, the scope of work included a comprehensive review of the smart contracts listed below. They tested the smart contracts to check for their security and efficiency. These tests were undertaken primarily through manual line-by-line analysis and were supported by software-assisted testing.
After Hashlock’s Audit, they found the smart contracts to be “Secure”. The contracts all follow simple logic, with correct and detailed ordering. They use a series of interfaces, and the protocol uses a list of Open Zeppelin contracts. The team initially identified some significant vulnerabilities that have since been addressed.
All issues uncovered during automated and manual analysis were meticulously reviewed and applicable vulnerabilities are presented in the Audit Findings section.
