0G Foundation Announces $88.88M Ecosystem Growth Program to Accelerate AI Agent Creation

0G Foundation, the organization overseeing the leading decentralized AI network, has launched a major ecosystem growth program to accelerate the creation of AI applications and agents such as DeFAI agents and other high-performance dApps on 0G. A total of $88.88M has been allocated towards spurring the development of autonomous AIs that align with 0G’s vision of decentralized technology serving humanity.
The $88.88M program is backed by a combination of strategic investors, AI Alignment node owners, and treasury commitments from the 0G Foundation. Supporters include prominent names in the web3 and AI space including Hack VC, Delphi Ventures, Bankless Ventures, and OKX Ventures. Their support will help to establish 0G as the predominant blockchain ecosystem for AI innovation.
Funds will be allocated through a combination of investments, grants, and liquid strategies concomitant to the needs and nature of each project. Open to everyone from solo developers to small and medium-sized teams, the 0G Ecosystem Fund will prioritize proposals that will advance the capabilities of decentralized AI while demonstrating broad utility.
Projects applying for funding should focus on practical solutions addressing hot topics such as climate change, workforce automation, healthcare, supply chain, privacy, government efficiency, security, and education. They are expected to demonstrate that they are scalable, technically feasible, and deliver a tangible benefit to the broader 0G ecosystem. Priority will be given to initiatives that leverage 0G’s infrastructure to ensure interoperability and long-term impact.
0G Foundation also seeks submissions from teams developing decentralized finance and social applications built with AI agents, onchain data marketplaces for secure and efficient data sharing, AI-driven gaming and metaverse solutions, general AI infrastructure, and governance protocols ensuring secure decision-making and privacy.
Collaborative tools enabling decentralized AI agents to work seamlessly in tandem will also be considered.
As part of this initiative, the 0G Foundation is launching the Guild on 0G, an $8.88 million initiative dedicated to accelerating the growth of decentralized AI applications. The Guild is designed to mobilize builders, creators, and developers by providing grants, prizes, and gas credits to support innovative AI-powered projects within the 0G ecosystem. By fostering a vibrant community of contributors, the Guild will play a critical role in scaling the impact of the ecosystem program and solidifying 0G’s position as the leading Layer-1 for decentralized AI. Cross-disciplinary projects that integrate AI, web3, and traditional industries are particularly encouraged, reflecting the foundation’s commitment to driving adoption beyond blockchain-native applications.
The 0G Ecosystem Fund is one of the largest web3 initiatives to have been created to accelerate agentic creation. Its launch follows the completion of 0G’s $33M AI Alignment Node Sale, which laid the groundwork for the world’s first decentralized AI Operating System by creating a globally distributed network of over 92,000 alignment nodes.
