Fuse Invites Developers to Join Its Incentivized Summer Hackathon

Payments blockchain Fuse has extended an invitation to EVM developers to participate in its Summer 2024 Hackathon. The three-week event commences on July 15 and offers prizes of $10,000 to the winners of each category.
Fuse’s summer hackathon has been designed as a virtual event that is open to solo developers and teams around the world. Set to run until August 4, the event will be followed by a ceremony on August 12 when the three category winners will be announced.
Entrants into the Fuse Summer 2024 Hackathon can choose to create a web application using Fuse’s SDK or a mobile app using the Flutter SDK. Submissions should fall into one of the following categories: DeFi, Mobile, or Open Track.
The Fuse Summer 2024 Hackathon will provide developers with an opportunity to gain the mentoring, resources, and potential investment to transform their ideas into working prototypes. The best concepts may additionally benefit from funding as part of the $10M Fuse Ecosystem Grant program.
Hosted in conjunction with DoraHacks, the Fuse hackathon will showcase the many use cases supported by its payments-focused blockchain. In the process, it will nurture developer talent and incubation novel dapps that solve real-world problems.
Hackathon participants will also be eligible for various perks provided by Fuse partners. These include developer tooling from the likes of Etherspot, Ramp, Pimlico, and ThirdWeb. The Fuse Summer 2024 Hackathon is open to all developers, regardless of experience, granting them an opportunity to create innovative web3 solutions that leverage Fuse’s scalable L2.
