Atlanta, GA, March 27th, 2024, Chainwire
The Solana Foundation, in alliance with Helius, Solana’s infrastructure platform, and HackQuest, a self-guided Web3 learning platform, is now running the 2024 Solana MCM Founder’s Bootcamp. The two-week program, started on March 4, 2024, offers a variety of workshops and office hours, designed to provide technical support, funding strategies, and ecosystem integration.
The bootcamp targets the Mandarin and Cantonese markets and selects 20 projects for mentorship from the leading experts of the Solana ecosystem. Open to all, the program offers sessions in both Mandarin and English to accommodate a global audience.
The mentors include:
- Adam: Advisor at Solana Foundation
- Daniel: Head of MCM at Solana Foundation
- Yao: Growth at Solana Foundation
- Dean: Develop Relations at Solana Foundation
- Mert: Co-Founder & CEO at Helius
- Abhay: CEO at Helium Foundation
- Tristan: Co-Founder at Backpack
- Harry: Co-Founder at HackQuest
The bootcamp, as an extension of the Solana Learning Track‘s post-learning support, embodies the collaborative vision of the Solana Foundation and HackQuest to bridge learning with community development. This initiative, the latest in a series of educational endeavors, marks an enduring partnership aimed at cultivating a dynamic, innovative community. Both entities have emphasized learning as an interactive journey, enriched by active participation and practical experience. Their commitment is evidenced by past successes, such as the Solana Hyperdrive Hackathon and multiple developer meetups and hacker houses, especially in the Mandarin Chinese market.
Participants will gain insights into the Solana Global Hackathon and receive comprehensive support in applying for Solana Foundation Grants. The curriculum, enriched by Solana Foundation advisors and key project leaders, spans various topics. Workshops will dissect the Solana Ecosystem’s overview, touch upon the migration to Solana’s tech stack, probe into Solana’s technological innovations, and guide the creation of DePIN projects on Solana. Furthermore, an in-depth look at Solana’s NFT landscape and the culture of its community will equip participants with a well-rounded understanding of the ecosystem.
The Solana Foundation supports individuals eager to participate in the Solana Global Hackathon, projects from other blockchains looking to transition to Solana, and those aspiring to receive Solana grants. The Solana MCM Founders’ Bootcamp sets up a gateway to deeper engagement with the Solana ecosystem and direct interaction with the Solana Foundation’s vast network of expertise.
