Ankara, Türkiye, March 13th, 2024, Chainwire
Bitget, the world’s leading cryptocurrency exchange and Web3 company, has launched a Ramadan campaign to celebrate the holy month with its Turkish-speaking audience. The campaign kickstarting on Ramadan will run throughout the month ending on Eid. This includes the chance to win from a pool of $100,000 giveaway along with a Macbook Pro and an iPhone 15.
During the campaign timeline new users participating in the campaign will get an airdrop of 5 BGB (Bitget Token) from a pool of 10,000 BGB. Daily Bitget users will get the opportunity to share in a 30,000 USDT prize pool, with rewards increasing with trading days. More active traders have a chance to tap into a 55,000 USDT pool, with their trading volume setting the stage for their potential winnings. New users get a special spotlight, with 200 lucky newcomers winning 50 BGB each, and the top trader picking up an iPhone 15. Additionally, a social sharing event on Twitter and an additional bonus event caters to first-time depositors using Turkish Lira, offering 200 TL worth of BGB for a minimum deposit, fostering a generous spirit this Ramadan with Bitget.
“At Bitget, our goal is to accelerate the ongoing crypto adoption in Türkiye. The market projects a high scope of advancement and the audience is already aware of the growing crypto ecosystem. With the collaboration of our top traders, we’re enhancing this growth as we provide products tailored to the Turkish region. We’re here to stay and enable better access to crypto for everyone,” says Vugar Usi Zade, COO at Bitget
In addition to the Ramadan campaign, Bitget is planning a Türkiye meetup tour to enhance crypto awareness and provide assistance to new people in crypto. This will be elaborated further with more programs under Blockchain4Her and Blockchain4Youth, a combination of $20M funds dedicated to enable education around the emerging space. Previously for 100th National Day, Bitget launched a scholarship fund worth ₺1,000,000, as part of the company’s Blockchain4Youth CSR program for underprivileged students in Türkiye.
This is certainly not the first time Bitget is making moves in Türkiye. Previously, it announced its plan of expanding in the region and driving growth for its Turkish users. Bitget has launched its app and website in Turkish and provides multiple levels of regional friendly banking options as well as seamless user infrastructure to navigate the complex ecosystem. In 2023, Bitget set up an office in Türkiye and presently provides fully-localised services through its online trading platform – Bitgettr.com. The global platform Bitget.com enables this growth by providing seamless integrations to DeFi ecosystems. With this, users in the region have access to newly listed projects built on Bitcoin Ordinals, Solana, Avalanche and more emerging blockchain protocols.
A recent Bitget survey of cross-regional crypto investors across the globe, including Türkiye, revealed that over 84% of participants anticipate BTC surpassing the previous bull market’s all-time high of $69,000 which recently happened when Bitcoin hit a new ATH at $72K. This proves widespread crypto adoption in the region, Bitget plans to enhance and accelerate this growth in the coming months.
