Major Q2 milestone achieved following two months of dedicated work since TestNet launch
Singapore, June 21 2023 — ARPA Network, a leading decentralized secure computation network, has launched on the Ethereum mainnet. This achievement comes after two months of unwavering dedication following ARPA’s TestNet launch and is a testament to its relentless commitment to innovating cryptographic systems and promoting the versatility, reliability, and interconnectivity of blockchain technology. Now, with the API available on Ethereum’s mainnet, developers can effortlessly build decentralized applications (dApps) using the power of ARPA Network including:
- Random Number Generator for projects of lotteries, gaming, or token distributions;
- Multi-party computation tools;
- Decentralized voting systems;
- Decentralized access control tool for shared resources;
- Decentralized and privacy-preserving identity management systems;
- Signature middleware for secure atomic swap.
The MainNet launch marks the culmination of ARPA Network’s unwavering commitment to fair, secure, and privacy-preserving blockchain ecosystems. Leveraging the achievements and lessons learned during the MPC MainNet era, ARPA Network has made significant strides by transitioning to the sophisticated TSS-BLS network. Through rigorous DevNet testing and the introduction of the feature-rich TestNet, they have showcased their dedication to innovation, leading to today’s fully operational MainNet. This achievement not only highlights ARPA Network’s technological advancements but also serves as an invitation for a broader ecosystem of stakers and nodes to join ARPA Network on its ongoing journey of evolution and growth.
Furthermore, on June 22rd, ARPA Network will initiate the minting of the remaining 500 million tokens that have been reserved for staking rewards out of its max supply. These tokens will be dedicated to staking rewards and will also serve as a reserve to fuel the ongoing growth of ARPA Network’s ecosystem. These ARPA tokens will be released incrementally over time, ensuring a gradual vesting process for stakers, validating nodes, and other ecosystem participants. This strategic move reflects ARPA’s commitment to long-term sustainability and the steady development of the ARPA Network.
ARPA Network is now finalizing a 6-month community pool staking program, with plans to allocate 1.5 million tokens as monthly rewards. The primary goal of this program is to enhance community participation, which is critical for further decentralizing ARPA Network. Community members can stake tokens to earn rewards and monitor the network’s performance. As community staking grows, node operator traction will continue to grow, enhancing the security and efficiency of the network and fostering a more prosperous ecosystem.
Developers still deciding what to build with ARPA’s secure and scalable TSS-BLS computation network are encouraged to check out ARPA Network’s code on GitHub and join in the upcoming bug bounty. ARPA’s core tech team is also available on Discord to engage and collaborate with fellow developers.
“The launch of ARPA Network’s MainNet on Ethereum marks the initial stride toward realizing an inclusive and interconnected Web 3.0. Our team has been working tirelessly to materialize ARPA’s vision of fostering fair, secure, and privacy-preserving blockchain ecosystems. However, this milestone is merely the beginning, and there is much more ground to cover. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our community for their enduring support as we embark on this thrilling next chapter,” says ARPA Network CEO Felix Xu.
Though ARPA’s MainNet launch on Ethereum marks a significant milestone, it’s just the beginning for achieving the multi-chain future ARPA envisions. ARPA is actively pursuing integration with other EVM-compatible chains like BNB Chain and exploring the potential of Layer-2 chains.

About ARPA Network
ARPA Network (ARPA) is a decentralized secure computation network built to improve the fairness, security, and privacy of blockchains. ARPA threshold BLS signature network serves as the infrastructure of a verifiable Random Number Generator (RNG), secure wallet, cross-chain bridge, and decentralized custody across multiple blockchains.
ARPA was previously known as ARPA Chain, a privacy-preserving Multi-party Computation (MPC) network founded in 2018. ARPA Mainnet has completed over 224,000 computation tasks in the past years. Our experience in MPC and other cryptography laid the foundation for our innovative threshold BLS signature schemes (TSS-BLS) system design and led us to today’s ARPA Network.
Randcast, a verifiable Random Number Generator (RNG), is the first application that leverages ARPA as infrastructure. Randcast offers a cryptographically generated random source with superior security and low cost compared to other solutions. Metaverse, game, lottery, NFT minting and whitelisting, key generation, and blockchain validator task distribution can benefit from Randcast’s tamper-proof randomness.
